As we settled into the pandemic this summer, I ran out of newspaper for cleaning brushes… and I needed figures to paint with figure drawing sessions no longer an option. The Wallstreet Journal provided the solution to both challenges. Last week’s paper is delivered to our doorstep by a team of neighbor girls each week. This little painting is just figure sketch practice- made from a model in the Wallstreet Journal Magazine. She is a simple beauty. So is the hope and cheer our neighbors bring.
