June 2021

Is it Still June?

This month’s print is a reproduction of a 2013 oil painting of a silver spoon, entitled Massachusetts.

I painted this piece about my transition to Massachusetts back in 2010. But this spring, I moved into my first house in Massachusetts and it feels like a much more permanent transition. This little piece and my letter are all about my mixed feelings on place. The simple symbolism in this painting has more meaning for me as time passes.

This month’s treat is a matching greeting card reproduction of Massachusetts so that you can share it too. The letter is long and ramble-y, but there you have it.

Sharing real life details and how they tangle into my studio practice really means a lot to me. - Thanks for coming along on the ride.
