a new baby:

This month’s print is a reproduction of a 2018 painting with found objects on canvas entitled Potential .

I had a baby on September 1st. Giving birth and meeting a brand new person is a wild and mysterious experience. I tried to capture a little bit of what it is like in this letter.

I am sure there are many paintings to come before I sort out the significance of it all in my life.
