Catching that fly :

This month’s print is a reproduction of an October 2021 watercolor and ink drawing entitled:

“All the things I’ve touched”

I found myself drawing dead flies on the windowsill again in October. And for as small, unusual and yucky as they may seem, these little insects continue to give me more to think about.

In my letter I explain how they captivate my imagination, why I chose a housefly as my logo and what I gain from rendering flies in my sketchbook.

This print of the month may not be your typical holiday meal content, but it will give you insight into the thinking behind my creative practice, and some food for thought as you navigate your daily routine.
