November 2022

white pine, red pine, tamarack

This month I’m sharing 2, 7x5,” prints of pine cone illustrations. They are ink on a watercolor wash, and I just made them.

conifers and community

I had planned on illustrating some pine cones this season. I enjoyed looking for the perfect subjects, and I started hoarding options months ago. I love how these little ink illustrations came out. Lots of lessons to take from trees in the neighborhood, lots of fun learning how to identify them…

But my letter focuses on something more. I went on a retreat in October and the reflection is begging me for a little growth and reminding me me just how grateful I am for my communities. Including the Print Club. I really feel connected to you and you’ve become a source of accountability for me. I write to you about it. And I just want to thank you.

I also want to hang out with you.

So I’m hosting a little online event on December 1 for Print Club subscribers. I sent you a ticket in this month’s mailing. I hope you can join me! See you sooooon.
